Heartworm Preventatives
At Bar S Veterinary Clinic, we recommend keeping your dog on heartworm preventative year-round. If your dog has never been on preventative or if it has been a while since its last dose, we would recommend a heartworm test. We are able to do these at our clinic and can have results within 10 minutes. Keeping your dog on a heartworm preventative is also a good way to routinely deworm them as most heartworm preventatives also have a dewormer in them.
